World's Nests Furnas Pods

The modern design made the unit feel pleasant and comfortable, and it was well laid out and maintained with everything we needed. We stayed three nights in one of the complex’s housing units, facing a tidy private garden with complete privacy. It really added to the holiday. Highly recommend.

We were staying at another hotel in the Caloura area, but asked for a refund for several reasons. I’d spotted on Booking that there might be a room here, so we turned up without a reservation. Patricia gave us a warm welcome despite the surprise visit, and everything was perfect. There are only four pods, which makes the place feel like a little oasis. It was very clean and quiet, and the wall-to-wall window looked out on nothing but nature. We could hear roosters and birds from morning until sunset. The pod was cozy and comfortable, with lovely natural light. It’s easy to walk into Furnas from the hotel, and borrowing bikes for free was a great perk. We loved our stay and highly recommend it. If it’s available for your dates, don’t hesitate. A sauna would be a lovely addition for an even more relaxing experience.

We wished we’d booked a longer stay. The view was amazing, and the comfortable, charming pods have glass walls facing a beautiful garden. Terra Nostra park is only a few steps away, and they provide towels for bathing. We also borrowed the very good quality MTBs for free and rode around Lake Furnas.

I slept with the window open and could hear the babbling brook all night. Unbelievable. The space was spotless, and the host made a great breakfast. It’s an easy walk into town and to numerous hot springs, so you can leave your car at the property instead of hunting for parking. Beautiful bikes are available for free too. 10/10, a great place to stay in Furnas.
