A small, nice hotel near the main squares and historic center. The rooms are a normal size, clean and quiet, with a few stairs leading down to a French balcony. Wi-Fi was okay. Breakfast is a small but useful buffet, and you can order additional dishes in advance. The staff were polite and helpful. There's no small fridge or water heater in the room. You can drop off by car outside, then park at a nearby city garage for 5€.

Ana and two other women on the staff were especially kind and helpful throughout my stay. As an Erasmus student waiting on a delayed visa, I was relieved when Ana offered to move the date forward. I also asked lots of questions while I was still getting to know the city, and the staff patiently explained things and helped when I ran into Uber problems. The hotel was clean, well located for getting around on foot, and inexpensive for what it offers. I really can’t recommend it enough.

Just outside the old city walls, the hotel is a minute from one of the main squares, so the location is fantastic. It has a small number of rooms, maybe around 15, and feels like a really nice, high-end boutique place.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The room was good, though the bathroom toiletries could be better. It’s right in the city center, with popular spots no more than a 10-15 minute walk away.

A clean little place right in central Guimarães, with good internet and a nice shower. The Castle, Palace, and Oliveira Church are about a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast had enough choices, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. I’d happily come back for another short visit :)
