My flight was cancelled, so I ended up spending one night at JSF, and I’d recommend it. It’s an old-style hotel, but cozy, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. It isn’t right downtown, though getting there on foot is easy enough. The breakfast was good, especially for the price per night.

Simple, clean, and very good value for money. The receptionist was really friendly, and the coffee was good.

Bed bug alert, avoid this hostel. We found bugs crawling on the mattresses and walls, black spots on the sheets, and red bites all over our bodies. Even photos of the bugs didn’t persuade the staff to take us seriously, and they unfortunately won’t acknowledge the problem. A horror of a hostel on an otherwise beautiful island.
