Clean, cozy, and in a great location. Really nice place.

Ines gave us a warm welcome and check-in was easy. The kitchen is well equipped, the Wi-Fi works well, and the bathrooms are nice. The interior is beautiful, though it’s an old house and you can hear every movement from the 2nd floor when you’re downstairs. The open railing on the upper bunks also needs fixing, since it makes them unsafe.

The location made it easy to visit cultural attractions and find places to eat and socialise. There’s a park with a river just across the road, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Incarnation church is about a five-minute walk uphill. It has lovely gardens and a breathtaking view over Leiria. Despite being so central, the hostel was quieter than some others in town. The staff were professional and kind, and made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. They really care about the guest experience, and it shows. The hostel was very clean, with a lovely terrace for meals and drinks, plenty of indoor space, and a room where you can properly relax. They had taken every precaution for covid 19, with sanitiser and hygiene gel throughout the hostel and up-to-date information. This place gets so much right. I can’t wait to come back.

Great value for the price. It’s clean, cute, and has what you need. Leiria itself isn’t very beautiful, but you can drive to some great beaches in 30 minutes.
