AlmaLusa Baixa & Chiado

We didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't comment on the rooms. We just had dinner with my partner and her parents, and it was fantastic. The food was tasty, well priced, and we all enjoyed the mix of Portuguese dishes. Our server was excellent at helping us choose food and drinks, thank you! I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're nearby. Obrigado!

This is always our first choice when we're in Lisbon. It's beautifully appointed and right in the heart of the city, but what really makes it special is the team's professionalism and kindness. We've made so many lovely memories here, largely because of the staff. Staying there feels like coming home.

We loved the location: close to lots of restaurants, shops and sights, with plenty to reach in a 10-minute walk in any direction, but not on a main road. Our room was clean and comfortable, and service was always prompt. It was our favorite stay during a 10-day trip, and a huge improvement on the other places we stayed. Pedro was waiting to drive us in and got us to Almalusa Baixa quickly despite the marathon. At the front desk, Diego and Fabiana welcomed us, explained the hotel and its amenities, and shared helpful, locally focused tips for sightseeing and food during our three days in Lisbon, including what to watch out for in some areas. It was our first visit to Portugal, and they made a great first stop. I can't say enough about the hotel and its staff, and would highly recommend Almalusa Baixa to anyone visiting Lisbon.

We loved the hotel's historic character, and it was both central and peaceful, even with a window facing the Praca and a great view. Our room was spotless and refreshed each day by the meticulous housekeeping team. The staff were warm and helpful, and we had a superb dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was AMAZING, with a generous buffet and plenty of choices, plus eggs made to order if you wanted something extra. We spent four wonderful nights there in March at the Alma Lusa Hotel on the Praca do Municipio. A real gem for exploring Lisbon from a small, friendly boutique hotel.
