We had everything we needed for our eight-night stay. The two-bedroom apartment was cozy, warmly designed, comfortable, and well equipped. The welcome snacks were a cute touch. The bedrooms were tiny and had no windows, so with the doors shut they got really hot and stuffy. The towels could use replacing too, since they had holes and lots of dark stains. The entrance stairs were a bit difficult to climb, as other Booking.com reviews mentioned, but that wasn't a big issue for us because we were on the first floor.

The host took time to show us a map and suggest places to visit, and the location was great, very close to the train station for our day trip to Sintra. It was cozy and good value for money. But with no air conditioning, the heat was almost unbearable. It was hotter than usual for Portugal when we visited, so I'd absolutely recommend it in the cooler months. In hotter weather, I don't know if I'd stay again because of the heat.

A cozy spot right in the middle of the city, with the train station nearby. Walk a couple of minutes and you're downtown in the thick of things!

After a full day seeing the city, it was lovely to come back here, relax, and enjoy some food and drinks. The apartment was cozy and tastefully decorated, on a beautiful, lively street that was still quiet at night. Sights and the metro were all within walking distance. The landlord gave us a warm, friendly welcome, with a bottle of wine, cheese, and fruit waiting on the table.
