Beatriz made check-in easy and was extremely polite and attentive. The apartment was quaint, well kept, and reasonably priced, with an excellent location. We had an enjoyable stay.

The street entertainment near the hotel was very noisy. It was really hard to sleep before midnight.

The only real downside was the noise: metro trains were easy to hear, and even a person talking on the street came through clearly at night. The bathroom fan also made noise without seeming to ventilate the room. Still, our stay was excellent. The building is brand new and spotless, and the room’s small kitchenette is thoughtfully set up. We stayed in a standard studio apartment belonging to Turim Hotels, next door to the hotel reception, which you use to access the apartments by stairs.

The location worked well for us, near a metro station, the Botanical Garden, bars and restaurants, and away from the most touristy area. The kitchenette was clean and had what we needed for a simple meal. The bed was comfortable, but the plastic mattress topper made it uncomfortable for us. The bathroom had a very unpleasant smell, and there was often a steady hum and buzz, possibly from the subway or construction. We chose the studio specifically because it was described as soundproof, but the walls were awful. We could hear every word from next door, though the windows were okay. The room was advertised for a 5-star hotel, so we expected more.
