The staff were really friendly, and the espresso tasted good. The window view was amazing, though it let in very little daylight, so the room was good only if you don’t need much light. Breakfast was toast with cheese and a kind of ham, the same day after day. The walls are paper thin. You hear conversations in the rooms on both sides and all over the floor, and can even tell when the shared bathroom is free. There was a baby crying all night, day after day, though sometimes the crying stopped when someone put on TV or music. I couldn’t get through a single night without being woken up. I’d never stay there again and can’t recommend it.

Sarah, who checked us in, was lovely, and the balcony gave us a little breathing room. Still, I wouldn’t book this place again. What’s advertised is very different from the reality. It’s basically an apartment with private rooms, more like a hostel, though even a hostel usually has a friendlier atmosphere. The shared area is right beside the rooms, so every little sound comes through as if it’s inside your room. You hear the bell when someone checks in during the night. Our only window faced the gap between two buildings, where there was a bad smell. The room had no ventilation and the air felt stagnant. Forget the bright rooms they like to show. Street cats also got into the apartment through one of the windows.

A cozy little hotel with friendly staff. It’s tucked away somewhere quiet, but shops, restaurants, and bars are nearby. There’s fruit, toast, and cereal for self-service.

Friendly staff, tidy bedrooms, and free food and drinks made this a sweet Hostle to stay in. Thanks for the experience!
