Dalma Old Town Suites

There's a nice restaurant inside the hotel, and they arranged day tours very well. Breakfast was perfect, and we got fresh towels every day. The place is nice and sits below the castle. The room was small, the toilet was separated by glass, and there was a lot of noise at night.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the tram stop is right outside. It's a great spot in the middle of Alfama's tourist area, though reaching it by car isn't easy. Because the building is old, our room was very small, with barely enough space to open a suitcase. I don't understand why rooms like this never have wall hooks or shelves. If you're visiting Lisbon without luggage, I can highly recommend it.

The staff were wonderful and so helpful, and I had some great conversations with them. The location is fabulous, with everything walkable. When I first walked in, the room looked quaint, but it wasn't clean and there wasn't much light. I found mold in the shower and a bunch of hair that wasn't mine. In the morning, sunlight showed the stains inside the duvet, which appalled me. The hotel could be much better if the rooms were cleaned thoroughly.

Lisbon was right outside the door, so it was easy to head out and explore. The area is lively, with cafes and streets below, but the soundproof windows and darkening shades kept the room quiet and private. Our room at Dalma was clean, stylish, and full of charm. We had a great stay.
