Divine House of Graça

I'd rate this hotel 8-10. The room was clean, and the shared bathroom, kitchen, and fridge were clean too. Everything was well maintained. I was surprised to find my room cleaned while I was out on the second day. My booking was for a room without a private bathroom, so that part was as expected. Noise from outside could be bothersome, especially people on the stairs or in the hall. The location takes a little figuring out. There's a bus stop about a minute's walk away, but the nearest supermarket is around ten minutes away on foot, along a steep road.

For the price, the private room and its location were good. There was just one shared bathroom, and luckily I never had to wait for it. The signs weren't very clear, so finding the check-in spot was a bit of a struggle at first. The Wi-Fi didn't work at all, and I had to use my own data the whole stay.

We weren't sure what to expect after reading the mixed reviews. When we arrived, they charged us a €4 fee because we were staying for just one night, though this hadn't been mentioned anywhere. My friend and I had booked separately, but they kindly let us share a room. It was clean and everything else was fine. We didn't have a lock for the room door, only for the apartment entrance and the building's lower entrance, which felt kind of scary, honestly.

There was no air conditioning or towels, and the room barely blocked sound. I’d booked a room with its own bathroom, but was given one without a bathroom when I arrived. I also spent two days taking cold showers. When other guests used up the hot water, I had to wait a long time for it to come back.
