SCAMMER ALERT! The place is not closed, and they still use it to take advantage of people.
Yeah, total scammer.
The location is good and the apartment gets plenty of light, but the place needs a lot of work. The furniture is old and dark, there are no proper closets, and the bedrooms only have coat racks with metal shelves. No bedside tables either, so you have to get up to switch off the lights. We were there during a heat wave, and there was no air conditioning, just noisy fans. There’s no heating for winter, either. The TVs didn’t work, and the windows were hard to open and close. Getting inside felt uncomfortable. The street entrance is a garage door with a hole, opening onto a shared courtyard next door where people were shouting, singing, and crying. Beyond that is a glass door that didn’t feel secure, at least to the men in our group. The layout is awkward. Downstairs there’s a room that looks like storage and a tiny bathroom in the stairwell that we didn’t need. On the first floor, the bathroom barely fits one person, has no shower screen, and nowhere to put toiletries or clothes. The bright kitchen has no blinds, and the double bed in the bedroom was pushed against the wall beside a sofa, so we had to move it. Upstairs, the bedroom has two beds and a somewhat larger, still tiny bathroom with a shower screen. The door there is damaged and won’t close properly. There’s also a shabby terrace that we didn’t use. The kitchen window between the bathroom and bedroom has no curtain, so we hung a towel over it for privacy from the neighbor when coming out of the shower. I’ve attached photos of all this, especially since it wasn’t cheap.
