The rooms were spacious and the location was great. Service could have been better, and climbing the stairs with our two small children wasn’t easy since there’s no elevator. Still, it worked well for a weekend, and we were pleased with the stay.

We cancelled three months before our stay, still within the free cancellation period, but the full amount had already been charged to our card. Two months on, they still hadn’t returned it. We contacted the property several times and never got a reply. Be careful with this place.

The apartments were pleasant to stay in, with clean rooms, soft beds, a comfortable living room, good AC, and a basic kitchen with a dishwasher. The area is attractive for tourists, with buses and the subway close by and several monuments within walking distance. Trams on the street made some noise, but I was fine with it even though I’m a very light sleeper. Getting into the rooms is a real challenge if you can’t manage stairs. There’s no elevator, and some apartments are up five levels. That might work for a young, able-bodied group without heavy bags, but not for a stroller or wheelchair. The bathroom floors are wood, which made keeping them dry feel odd and stressful. We also didn’t get fresh towels or a shower mat until three days later. There doesn’t seem to be a lobby, unless the restaurant next door is meant to be one, so contacting the hotel was confusing. Our electronic lock stopped working on the second morning. We’d run out of toilet paper and asked a cleaner in the neighboring apartment for more; he called management right away. They fixed the lock while we were out, but didn’t say when, so that evening we just had to trust it was working again. I’d consider coming back if I were traveling with young people who could handle the stairs.

The location was ideal, and the price for the apartment wasn’t too bad. There was plenty of space, and at first it seemed okay. Looking closer, though, we found mold in the bathroom and cracks in places, and the area was noisy. More toilet paper, somewhere to store clothes, and hooks for towels would’ve helped. The hot water seemed to come from a tank, so a few of us in our group had cold showers. Communication was shocking from booking until we arrived. We didn’t get any instructions before the trip and had to contact the property ourselves to ask.
