The room and bathroom felt small for $240 USD a night, and the TV was tiny and mounted too high. The shower curtain smelled, while the hallway carpet looked worn. One serious concern was breakfast: opened single-serving jelly jars seemed to be reused alongside new ones. That’s a hygiene issue the hotel needs to fix right away. Garam Lisboa does have a lot going for it. The staff were friendly and helpful, the property was charming, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower worked perfectly, breakfast tasted good, and I loved having a coffee machine available around the clock and fresh apples for guests. The location was pretty good too.

Breakfast was a lovely start to each morning, fresh and delicious, with options for different tastes and a nice presentation. The rooms were spotless, and fresh towels and bedding were provided regularly, which helped make the place feel relaxing and homely. From the moment we arrived, the staff at Garam Lisboa made us feel welcome. They were friendly, warm, and ready to help with anything, from local suggestions to little personal requests. Their knowledge of the area made exploring Lisbon easier and more enjoyable. The team looked after us throughout the stay and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It’s a charming place, and we can’t recommend it enough. We’ll definitely come back.
