Avoid this place. The owners were rude and showed no empathy, and the experience was especially awful over Easter weekend, when other properties were booked. We booked two double rooms on one card. They rejected the second, cheaper room, booked for my friend, who owned the card and was due to join us the next day, because the guest name didn't match the cardholder. They charged my friend's card for my non-refundable booking, then said my sister and I couldn't stay because we didn't own the card they had charged. They denied us service but expected payment. They also charged the tourist tax to the card, though it was supposed to be paid at the property and wasn't part of the bill. I couldn't get through on the phone. I'd guess there's a 70% chance you won't reach them if you call now. Booking.com asked them to honor both bookings or cancel both with a full refund, but they refused. Booking.com told me the owners were extremely rude to its representatives, refused to let us stay or refund us, and told them to stop calling and bothering them. We were willing to show an authorization letter, and the cardholder was coming the next day anyway. We planned to arrive on the second day instead, when the cardholder would be with us. I tried calling to let them know, but they didn't answer. They cancelled our booking on the check-in day. More than three weeks later, they still hadn't returned the 11 Euros that Booking.com said we should get back if the property cancelled the stay. I consider that extremely illegal. We have to make a claim with the card company to sort it out. They seemed extremely incompetent to me, since they couldn't even read who owned the card. If you're considering the property for a good deal, I'd say it isn't worth it. I wish I'd read the reviews first. Don't make the same mistake I did. Pay a little extra for a place with nicer, more empathetic hosts, and avoid dealing with a situation like this during your vacation.
