Haws Lisboa

We only dropped in by chance, and ended up loving HAWS. We both work remotely full-time, one of us from Norway and the other from Germany, so a comfortable place with a proper workspace matters. HAWS had that balance, in a modern, welcoming space that clearly suits remote work. Daniella was so kind and helpful from the start. She showed us around, explained everything, and made us feel at home right away. Her service made our first visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Daniella!

I was jolted awake on our last night by the people upstairs coming in and walking or running around. The old wooden floors made the doors in my bedroom move, and after that I couldn’t get back to sleep. Apart from that, the place was amazing for our three-night stay: clean, nicely decorated, and the staff were kind and helpful.

We had a separate bedroom for the adults, a big living room, a kitchen with everything we needed, a clean bathroom, and plenty of room to relax. The apartment was full of light, with large windows or doors in every room opening onto big balconies. There were welcome treats too, including soft drinks, cheeses, snacks, and little extras for the kids, plus free coffee and refreshments downstairs. The staff were warm and attentive, and three receptionists greeted us when we arrived. As a family of four, this was the best value and stay of the roughly 20 hotels we visited on our European trip. We paid €100 a night for a spacious, beautifully arranged apartment, while many other cities charged €200-300 for a basic room with a bed and fold-out couch. Only one place in Austria came close, and it didn’t have welcome drinks. It’s centrally located in Lisbon, affordable, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful place in a great location, with lovely city views from almost every window. We stayed in a spacious, clean apartment on the top floor. The staff were excellent, and the 130-year-old building has been renovated with real care. This is where we’ll stay whenever we visit Lisbon. A real gem.
