Hello Lisbon Marques de Pombal Apartments

The place gave us less than we paid for, and when we complained they said there was nothing they could do because no other room was available. They wouldn’t refund our money and told us to take it up with booking. Then they hung up on me and stopped answering my calls. There was loud water noise from the ceilings, and the shower water smelled dirty. One of the kitchen doors fell on me and broke the stove. I moved quickly, luckily, so it didn’t hit my head. They just said sorry and left it at that. The place looked nothing like the pictures, and I’ve never had accommodation or staff this horrible.

The location in the city was good, and the place was quiet. But there were ants in the apartment, even in the bed. I asked the staff to get rid of them twice, and they came back. The apartment could have been cleaner too. Breakfast in the box was poor, and the price felt too high for the conditions.

The rooms are small but clean. We prepaid for three rooms, yet it took 45 minutes to check in because there’s no front desk or staff to help, just a kiosk. We had trouble with the machine and called an agent who was rude and incompetent. One of our rooms was assigned to a room that was either already occupied or hadn’t been cleaned, so we had to call again. The shower was broken too, which meant another call. Not worth the hassle.

A decent place to sleep, with towels provided. The apartment is about 15 minutes from the centre.
