The listing gives a misleading impression: this is a shared apartment, not “apartments.” We had the silver room with our own bathroom, but could hear every sound in the apartment, so there was no real privacy. The room is on the ground floor near the street, and the streetlight stayed on all night, making it very bright. The Wi-Fi was weak, the room lock didn’t feel secure, and there’s no safe in the rooms. The location was the only redeeming part.

We had a pleasant one-night stay in the Green room in their suites. The rooms are newly renovated and nicely done, and ours was spacious and clean. Carlota was really helpful with recommendations and anything else we needed. Since our flight was in the evening, we were even able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout. One thing we hadn’t noticed before booking was that the bathroom was outside the room. It was a bit inconvenient to go through the kitchen, and it didn’t feel very private. We only caught that detail too late to make another arrangement.

We wouldn’t stay here again because of the noise. There was construction inside the rest of the building, and footsteps from upstairs were unusually easy to hear. At one point I could even hear a zip being closed. The shared kitchen sounds also carry into the room, so it doesn’t feel private. The hosts left earplugs, but there was noise from so many sources throughout the day and evening that they didn’t really help. The room was large and clean, and the location is great for reaching tourist sites. It was also affordable. But a few useful things were missing: a full-length mirror in the bedroom would help, since the bathroom stays steamy for a long time even with an extractor fan and leaves the room smelling damp. There’s nowhere to put toiletries, with no bathroom shelving or shower soap holder. There’s just one tiny hook behind the door for towels, and each person gets a bath towel and a face cloth, but no larger hand towel.
