The hostel was clean and the staff friendly, but there are only two bathrooms for the whole place, even if they're spacious. The rooms have poor insulation onto the corridor, just a small glass door. Mostly, though, you won't sleep because of the nightclub downstairs. It's so loud it feels like you're inside it.

Friendly staff and a nice common area, with pretty good internet. The hostel sits in a pleasant local neighborhood within walking distance of tourist attractions. A simple breakfast is included, but towels cost extra. Bring a padlock for your belongings, or you can buy one there for around 2€. There's a kitchen, which is handy for a longer stay. Just one bathroom on the floor can make things complicated when the hostel is full.

The price is the best part. The facilities are new and functional, and the location is decent, by Lisbon's main road with a tram/bus stop nearby, though the metro is far away. The hostel is on the top floor of an ordinary building and isn't very well signposted. My bed was noisy and felt a bit weak. On weekends, the disco downstairs can make things pretty horrible because the soundproofing is poor.

After a few days, I noticed little black marks on the bed, the kind left when small insects get crushed under the covers. I told reception, but they didn't care. The next night I took pictures and confirmed they were bedbugs. They moved me to another bed, but the place was infested. They refunded the remaining nights, but charged me for the current night even though I hadn't touched the bed, and tried to blame me for starting the infestation. Just an awful experience. The location is good, as if that matters.

The low price might suit budget travelers, but saving a couple of euros isn't worth staying here. The beds creak, the rooms are small, and there are only two bathrooms for the entire hostel. Bring a locker if you stay. I was naive enough to leave my gold earrings and headphones under the pillow, and they were gone after cleaning.
