LSA Chiado Emenda by Numa

The customer service was the worst I’ve ever had. I never got a check-in link, and once it finally arrived, checking in took me over half an hour. They didn’t provide water or coffee. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The washing machine was a handy thing to have, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of lots of attractions. The area felt very safe. Check-in was quick and smooth, with a staff member kindly helping us, so things started well. But after 10 p.m. groups of teenagers made enough noise to make it hard to sleep. Inside, the floor looked visibly dirty, even though the room smelled pleasant. The room felt worn and overused. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were lumpy with uneven cotton filling, and the bathroom needed maintenance, with a stained toilet seat and worn silicone. The towels were so thin they felt like paper.

We refused to stay and booked another hotel after seeing the apartment. It was dirty and very old, nothing like the photos, and the bathroom door was completely shattered, an obvious safety risk that nobody had warned us about. No fuimos avisados. An employee came to inspect the damage and saw it, but they still denied us a refund. This lack of transparency and responsibility is unacceptable. Avoid this place.

The room service cleaning deserves the two stars, though really, that’s the bare minimum. We booked two rooms: one had broken blinds, and the fridge in the other wouldn’t shut, so it was useless. The sink leaked whenever we used it, and the noise kept us awake. We couldn’t get the hotel to respond at all. The sofa bed felt like sleeping on rocks. A horrible experience. Don’t book.
