Restauradores Deluxe W/ Elevator & Ac Perfect For Families & Friends

Carlos handled our check-in and was friendly and helpful. The Restauradores Apartments are reasonably priced and well placed near a train station, metro, and attractions. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay despite a few snags. The apartments take up one floor of the building, which has other occupants. The front door is left open, but card locks secure the main apartment entrance and each unit. Restaurant waiters next door used the lobby as a staff room to smoke and use their phones, and one morning a homeless person was sleeping in the stairwell. There’s no elevator, so expect three flights of stairs. Housekeeping forgot to refill our coffee pods one day. There’s no front desk on site, so you have to call Carlos to meet you. When we arrived, my call went to a Portuguese voicemail I couldn’t understand. Luckily, another guest got in touch with Carlo’s cell phone, and he was on his way.
