We booked our April stay, but the host hadn't told us how specific the damage deposit requirements were. We had paid through booking.com, and they wanted the deposit by bank transfer through IBAN or PayPal. Since we were coming from Canada and had neither option, we offered cash or a credit card instead. They never gave us the entrance code, and we never got our money back. I'd stay away unless you're comfortable risking your money disappearing.

They canceled our reservation that very morning and gave no clear reason. The place requires a minimum €300 deposit, even for a cheap stay, paid by bank transfer seven days before the booking. It feels like a scam. They were rude and disrespectful.
