The owner was friendly and attentive, and easy to reach whenever I needed something. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the other facilities were adequate. It's a comfortable place right in the center, only a few minutes on foot from the main sights around Chiado, Alfama, and lower Lisbon. I'd definitely recommend it.

I paid in advance for May 11 to May 18, but arrived in the middle of the night to find the doors locked. I went up to the floor five times and called over and over, but got no answer. My emails were ignored too. They kept my money, which felt like a scam, and I was left out on the street to find another hotel at the last minute. That cost me extra money and caused a lot of stress. This was the worst service I've ever had. Shame there's no zero-star option. Stay away!
