Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa

My room at the Sheraton Lisboa was spotless and incredibly comfortable, and the spa and bar/restaurant were great highlights of the trip. The service was extraordinary from the moment I reached reception, with the staff looking after me throughout. Every team member deserves credit for their hospitality. It’s hands-down one of the best spots in Europe, and I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for nine nights starting on New Year’s Eve. Service was excellent and made the visit memorable. It’s an older hotel, and some room types can feel quite dated. The location is convenient for getting around, though it’s outside the tourist area.

The Sheraton is lovely, with really nice staff and rooms. It has a traditional feel, not a trendy or modern one. If you have Marriott status, they give you a free drink at the lobby bar and put out a nice little plate during happy hour. They definitely make you feel welcome. There’s a spa and a gym, but no pool or sauna outside the spa treatment area. The treatments were okay, though I didn’t find the setting as relaxing as other places. The staff were very nice.

The rooftop view across Lisbon is beautiful and panoramic. You can even see the Sanctuary of Christ the King in the distance. Downstairs, the large lounge felt inviting, with flavored water and popcorn available, and there was a piano shaped like something from the future. Our room was very clean, with extra-comfortable beds, robes, slippers, a safe, and a refrigerator. Service was very friendly, and breakfast offered lots of choices, including gluten-free items. It’s a top-notch hotel with amazing amenities, and we had a wonderful stay while visiting Lisbon.
