Spacious 4bdr River View

For a solo traveler like me, the rooms were just right: small, but very clean and cozy. The price seemed fair for charming Graça, and the staff were extremely friendly. There was a quick clean each day, and communication was excellent from check-in through the stay. I also felt safe traveling alone. I read an earlier comment and don’t think it gives the place a fair picture. The stairs are clearly mentioned in the listing, so that seems like the reader missed that detail. It’s a guesthouse, not a five-star hotel, but it delivers what the listing says. Thanks for the hospitality. I’ll definitely stay again when I return to Lisbon.

For the price, you can find much better hotels, and I strongly advise people not to book this one. I checked four rooms. The door in the room was right beside the bed, with barely enough room to take off slippers, and the bathrooms were all small and smelled bad. Maybe another room has a bigger bathroom, but every one I saw was tiny. The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. They made guests feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. This is the worst hotel in the world. 😣

We loved how warm and charming this place felt, and the beds were among the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It’s easy to walk to nearly all the best spots in Lisbon, yet the location still feels tucked away and peaceful. The staff were so kind, attentive, and caring. I enjoyed every moment and will absolutely book again when I’m back in Lisbon.

The stairs were the main concern for me. There’s no lift, so you have to carry your luggage up two floors, and the wooden steps are noisy and feel as though they could break at any moment. The people running the hotel also came across as really unprofessional and rude. Know what you’re getting into before booking.
