The One Palácio da Anunciada

The hotel is beautiful, and we loved the garden, spa, and indoor and outdoor pools. Breakfast à la carte was delicious too. Our trip came together at the last minute because of a medical procedure at CUF Tejo Hospital, so we arrived stressed. The whole team helped us settle in, from the front desk, especially Pedro and Soraya, to Miguel at breakfast. Everyone made us feel cared for. We're grateful for the warm hospitality and will definitely return. Another plus for us: they're PET FRIENDLY, and we have a small french bulldog.

We found the rooms quiet and comfortable, with high-end features. The spa is small but has a nice steam room and massage pool; there's also an outdoor pool overlooking the central courtyard, with its own bar. The restaurant is lovely, and the staff are polite, polished, and friendly. This beautifully restored historic palace is a centrally located 5* hotel, close to restaurants and sights. It's about 30 minutes from the airport by cab, and once there it's easy to explore the city on foot. Very, very good, as we've come to expect from The One hotels.

The staff were attentive and helpful, including taking note of a gluten and dairy allergy and making sure it was accommodated. Our rate included a lovely daily breakfast. We loved the comfortable, clean room and the beautifully detailed renovated historic building. The location is ideal for walking to many city attractions. We'd recommend this hotel.

The rooms were lovely, and the decor throughout was beautiful. Everyone was courteous and helpful, and the restaurant food was delicious. Our favorite was the brioche toast with mussels. A bus stop is across the street, and many major tourist sights are walkable. The only small thing I'd change: each outlet had USB-A and USB-C ports, but there wasn't a universal or dual outlet. I'd choose this hotel again if I come to porto.
