We could keep our dining costs in check by switching between eating out and making meals at the apartment. There are plenty of affordable, everyday shops and markets within a five-minute walk, and the apartment worked really well for a vacation.

The house was really comfortable, and the neighborhood has everything you need. Our hosts were excellent.

8/10
The apartment was compact throughout, but comfortable enough for a fairly short visit. It’s just outside Lisbon, though public transport made getting around easy. We were there in August and, with central apartments so expensive, this one seemed like a reasonable find. There was no air conditioning, which was a plus in the heat, and fans in the bedrooms.

Really clean and comfortable for a family, and the location worked well. We had an excellent stay.

The outside felt a little scary, but inside it was clean, pretty, and quite nice.
