The room was a good size, and over our three nights the shared bathroom stayed clean. Still, I had a frightening experience: at 1 a.m. on the second night, I woke to people trying our door. It can't be locked from inside, and entry only takes a four-digit code. They couldn't get in because their code was wrong, but when I opened up, they showed me a booking message from the owner assigning them our same room. Since rooms have apparently been assigned incorrectly before, I hope more care is taken when sending self check-in instructions. After that, I didn't feel safe in the room.

We arrived and found other guests already in the room. A mistake can happen, but after contacting the host, we were given access to another room, and that one had guests in it too. Then he sent photos of an empty room and said it was available, even though we'd already walked into two occupied rooms. He also asked us to take a picture of the other guests. That felt insane. What about their privacy? Because of this, I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night with my pregnant wife.

Our room was lovely, and the place was clean, well located, had AC, and plenty of bathroom space for all the guests. Just be aware there are four flights of narrow, slippery stairs to climb. I don't know why some of the other reviewers are making such a fuss.

We felt safe and had a great stay. The sheets were nice, everything was very clean, and the location was perfect. The bed was a little springy and uncomfortable, though that might just have been our room. We still slept well. The host was helpful throughout the trip, replying to us and sharing information and suggestions.

Maybe fine for just one night or so. The walls are thin, neighbors were loud, and other guests were disrespectful. There was mold in the bath, tiny doors, and the walls are falling apart.
