The hosts were so friendly and their recommendations helped us a lot. Breakfast was delicious, and the Quinta is a beautiful house with a terrace and amazing views. Everything felt lovely here. It was the best place we stayed on Madeira.

The view from our room was stunning, and the atmosphere at quinta da Capela was calm and relaxing. One tip: rent a small car, since it's easier to park.

A charming, historic place in an outstanding location, with owners who made us feel very welcome. Recommended if you want something with a bit more character than a standard, boring five-star hotel.
