A great base for exploring the park, with spacious, clean rooms.

My family and I will definitely come back. The owner was lovely, attentive and very kind, and the apartment was clean and in a very good location. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made the stay comfortable. Booking.com is making it increasingly difficult, though.

We stayed three times, from Wednesday to Saturday. The apartment has everything you need and is in a prime location. The pool was a peaceful haven, and we practically had it to ourselves. The views and sunset from there are unbeatable. For the Gerês-Albufeira river beach, walking is best, or you can pay €3 for half a day of parking. It’s virtually impossible to park along the whole road down to the beach, and cars have trouble passing each other. There’s no room to maneuver.

The apartments are spacious and comfortable, with large terraces looking out over the mountains, and the value for money is unbeatable. The pool sits above the apartments and has spectacular views. The furniture is a little dated, but the kitchenware has everything you need.

The pool and its lovely view are wonderful, and the staff are really friendly and honest. We’ve stayed in this great house three years in a row, and it keeps getting better. The rooms are five-star, with air conditioning, a fitted kitchen and a barbecue. It has everything you need to relax. I love it and recommend it 100%. Stay once and you’re sure to fall in love with the place.
