Aspasios Bonjardim Apartments

The room was clean, tidy and beautiful once we finally got inside, and the location is very good. But get the entry codes before you arrive. We waited nearly an hour for help because Porto Residence's phone number wouldn't connect. We had to find a way to reach someone at a hotel from the same brand, after people in Madrid and Lisbon couldn't help. There is no elevator, so be ready for the stairs. Street repairs were underway, and the noise could disturb your sleep, so waking up early may help.

The street was heavily under construction and fenced off, with cars unable to reach the entrance. This wasn't mentioned in the listing. Our room was on the fourth floor and there was no elevator, making it impossible to manage with luggage or mobility issues. The staff were dismissive and offered no help or solutions. We had to find another hotel at the last minute for a much higher price. A complete nightmare.

The safe box didn't work. They blamed the previous client for breaking it, but shouldn't they check that everything works before the next guest arrives? As for the construction noise that woke us at 7 a.m., they might say it's out of their control, but they could at least warn guests. If you want to sleep well, this isn't the place.

The location is the best, less than 200 meters from the market and the city's best areas. The room was bright and spacious, with a huge room and bathroom, plus amazing AC. It had everything you might need, including a dishwasher, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fully equipped bathroom with a hairdryer. Everything was done perfectly to a high standard. 10/10.
