The friendly staff offered compensation, which we appreciated. The apartment itself was nice and right in the center, but construction nearby and overhead was very loud. It woke us every morning at 8 and made it hard to enjoy the patio.

We arrived with two 3-year-old children and found the place freezing. The air conditioning kept cutting out, and when we opened it, the filters were caked with dirt. They clearly hadn't been cleaned in ages, despite the claim that they were cleaned weekly. We had to bang the dirt loose and clean them ourselves. There was filth throughout, broken electrical outlets, and lots of insects in the sink. The floor was so uneven it felt as if people in the room above might fall through onto us. The bathrooms looked long neglected, with mold on the ceilings and a shower tray filthy enough for a horror movie. We contacted the accommodation on December 25th. They did respond, but far too slowly, so we assumed reception was closed. This place shouldn't be open to guests in these unsanitary conditions. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt. An awful stay, and a nightmare for anyone thinking about booking.

Everything we needed for a vacation was in the apartment, and it was clean and in good shape. The staff were really friendly and explained things clearly. It's about a 10-minute walk to the city center, with good bus connections. One thing to plan for: there's no elevator, so if you have a stroller or wheelchair, ask for the ground-floor unit. The parking garage is a 5-minute walk away. We found it easier to unload first, then park. We had a good stay.

The reception staff were especially helpful. I asked where to go, eat, and walk, and they pointed out the main spots. The apartment was lovely, with big windows onto a very quiet street. It had a bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed, a shower bathroom, and a small kitchen with a small fridge and capsule coffee machine. Everything was perfect.
