For the price and location, this worked well if all you need is a clean room in a good spot. The room was reasonably clean and the older fittings were in decent condition. The shower got hot and had good pressure, though its screen didn't keep the bathroom floor from getting very wet.

Luis found my diamond earrings while getting the room ready for the next guest, then staff told me about them when I returned for my luggage. I'm so grateful, and honestly a little surprised by how honest they were! We stayed a couple of nights and liked the area's access on foot to the riverfront and city sights. The rooms were clean, and the check-in staff were helpful and friendly. Check-out was at noon, and they let us leave our bags while we toured before our train to Lisbon.

I had €500 stolen from the safe in my room. When I told reception, the receptionist smiled and said the police station was just around the corner. I wasn't expecting the hotel to hand my money back, but I didn't expect that kind of response either. Avoid this place if you can.

Don't book here, it's a scam! The room they gave us smelled bad and one of the lights didn't work. It was also a room for disabled people, which wasn't appropriate for us. We checked out after 20 minutes, and now they're ignoring our calls and emails. Zero stars!
