HF Ipanema Porto

I was traveling solo, and the staff made me feel welcome and well looked after. They were polite and incredibly helpful. I wanted to take a day trip to Fatima, and Felipe went above and beyond with information, options, and timetables to help me make it happen. Thank you, Felipe, and all the staff. God bless you all. The hotel has a modern, spacious design and is a very good standard for four stars. The service felt five-star to me.

Every staff member was professional, friendly, patient, and courteous. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and nice.

The positives were the ninth-floor view, being allowed to check in early because our flight arrived early, and a modern room with two robes. We stayed four nights. The three elevators are very small, only holding around four people, and slow. The gym needs more equipment, the room’s air control didn’t work, and the cleaning could be more thorough. We ate at the restaurant, but the food wasn’t very good compared with what we had in Porto. Also, items in the mini fridge aren’t complimentary, despite what a staff member may tell you. I was told one thing by one employee and a different thing at checkout. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel or use the brand again. I won’t even post pictures.

The neighborhood was clean and quiet, with very good access to downtown, the shopping center, and important places around the city. We stayed at Hotel HF Ipanema Porto for two weeks and would definitely recommend it. We’ll always remember the kind staff and beautiful Porto. Thank you so much! The staff were respectful, friendly, and really helpful. When we bought fruit, we asked several times for dishes or cutlery, and they brought them quickly. They were kind and did a lot for us and the other guests to make our stay memorable. The rooms were cleaned every day, even on days when we hadn’t asked for it, and the sheets were changed too. Just once they forgot to leave towels, but they brought some very quickly, which was absolutely okay. July 19th, 2025
