Rivoli Cinema Hostel

It’s well located in the center, and I’d choose it again right away. The dorms were clean and practical, with good facilities and comfortable shared areas. The service team was helpful and sympathetic, and they had the best, up-to-date information about everything.

The hostel is in a perfect spot for tourist sights, with the metro very close by. I had a great stay and would definitely return when I visit Porto. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and it was easy to meet other solo travelers. The beds were comfortable and the privacy curtains were a big plus. My only issue was that the bathrooms were mixed gender, which I didn’t personally enjoy. Aside from that, no complaints. It’s one of my favorite hostels I’ve stayed in.

The shared kitchen area was really nice, and so was the rooftop patio. Our room was pleasant, though it had an odd smell during our two-night stay. You can hear things through the walls, so earplugs would be a good idea. The bathrooms are quite small, with just three toilets and three showers each, but the shower had warm water and good pressure.

Being right in the city center meant we could walk everywhere without needing public transport. I had a great time at this welcoming hostel and would definitely come back. The rooms are small, but have what you need, and the bed curtains give you lots of privacy. It worked especially well for me as a solo traveler.
