Santa Catarina Downtown Apartment

The pool is immaculate and a pleasure to swim in. Staff were friendly and helpful, though a couple of problems we raised weren’t sorted until the next day. Once reception staff leave in the mid-afternoon, there’s no one around to help until morning. The apartment was very clean and quite nice, but damp throughout. We were surprised to find a dehumidifier, then noticed the towels weren’t dried and everything stayed moist. There’s also nowhere to park, even briefly to drop off or collect luggage.

It’s peaceful and in a great spot, so it works well for a holiday or even just a weekend. The apartment feels welcoming, has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and is well equipped.

The apartment has closed and no longer exists, so don’t try to book or pay through Booking.com. The host is still taking payment, and the listing used photos of other places and apartments. It had failed to meet health regulations.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. The apartment is in a very convenient location, and its decor feels warm and inviting.
