I loved this little island, and the hostel made me want to plan another trip before I’d even left. The building is amazing, the staff were lovely, and my room was super clean. I also really liked the small private bathroom. I’ve been to the Azores once before, but this was my first time staying on Graciosa, and I’ll definitely stay at this hostel again.

We stayed for a week and could easily have stayed another. Maria made sure we got a good rest, and the private rooms were comfortable. The hostel is right in the center of Santa Cruz da Graciosa, with clean shared spaces and lots of amenities. It’s clearly well run and cared for.

I’ve stayed at Boa Nova twice now, and I’ve been happy with both visits. The staff are friendly, the rooms are nice, and the sea views are beautiful. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hostel is well equipped and in a great location. Maria welcomed us with such a warm, upbeat manner. Her imitation of the accent from Northeastern Brazil was priceless!
