The staff and owner were so welcoming and kind that I felt at home from the first day. I spent two lovely months at Quinta do Chocalhinho, starting in their charming hotel room and later moving to the cosy studio apartment 'Casa do Teresa.' I honestly didn't want to leave. My afternoons often meant a bit of work in the beautifully designed lobby, time on the peaceful property trails, or meditating beside the large outdoor pool. At the end of the day, I could have the dream spa to myself, with its jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. And in the mornings, I'd wake to birdsong and watch a herd of donkeys go by on their little morning march from my spacious balcony. Quinta do Chocalhinho is a gem. I can't wait to come back!

The marketing photos could do with an update, because the place is much better in reality. The Spa is gorgeous, the staff are so warm, and it's a beautiful, peaceful getaway. Breakfast was delicious and really generous. I don't get impressed very easily these days, but this trip was a real joy. Thank you!

There isn't a café or restaurant, so you'll need to sort out your own lunch and dinner. With the range of breakfast dishes, though, you might not feel like lunch anyway. The setting is gorgeous, the room was fabulous and had a fridge, and we got a genuinely warm welcome. Breakfast was great too.

I was in Odemira in 2022 for a European School project called Erasmus and stayed at this Hotel. The pool was so useful after a hot day, and the food was delicious. The owner was a very kind, nice man with lots of stories to tell. 10/10, I'd recommend it and would visit again if I got the chance.

We stayed for four nights with our two-year-old son, and this was a fantastic part of our holiday. The apartment had two bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Each room has a small outdoor seating area and backs onto the pool and garden. The owner and staff were all very friendly. There are cots, high chairs and a little bathroom step for younger visitors, which was great. Our son especially loved feeding the horses. There are farm animals, a playground and a swimming pool. The food was wonderful too. Breakfast had breads, pastries, fruit, jams, meat, cheese, cake and eggs made to order. Dinner is available on request; we had it one night and it was delicious. It's just outside town, and we took day trips to beaches about 30 minutes away. I'd highly recommend staying here.
