The mattress was so good that we still miss it. Franco's dinner tips worked out well too, and breakfast was more than fine. We spent the end of a long, enjoyable Portuguese trip at Franco's place, and it turned out to be a revelation. We felt looked after without losing our independence, with clean rooms, privacy, and space to relax. The bungalow was cute, tidy, and had its own style. It was cleaned every day, which is hard to find in Portugal. The pool was spotless, uncrowded, and had a lovely view of the hills. The other guests were there for the same kind of quiet break, so it all fit. Thanks, Franco! We'll be back, and maybe we'll use your actual name next time.

The shared areas are really nice, and although the pool is a bit small, we had a great time in it. The accommodation was clean and very good. A lovely place to unwind, and one I'd return to.

The owner speaks several languages and is always around when you need help. Our room was great, with access to a pool, and the setting was calm and fairly remote. Breakfast was really nice too.

The swimming pool and location were a real plus, and breakfast was very good. We had wonderful rooms and service, with friendly staff and host Carlos. A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

You do need to be fond of dogs, but this is a great spot for a quiet, peaceful stay. The owner and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.
