We went in June, and it was all calm. The busiest stretch is from 15th July to 15th September. There’s a swimming pool, but it costs an extra 3,5€ per person. Although Porto Covo is central, with shops within walking distance, the village is quiet and you don’t hear it from inside the campsite. There are trees throughout, and the cozy atmosphere makes it feel less central. All pitches have grass, with bushes around them for privacy, and there are plenty of trees. The beaches are all gorgeous and 10 minutes’ walk away or less. Staff are friendly and do everything they can to help. For the price, this is surely one of the best campsites I’ve stayed at in Portugal.
