Quinta da Bizelga Cottages

The owner and staff were fantastic, and the beautiful surroundings made this a special place to stay. My family spent a week in three lovely apartments, all fully equipped and in excellent condition. The on-site facilities were great, with everything we needed, and fresh bread was even delivered each day. Highly recommended.

The grounds were beautifully kept, and the house was exceptionally clean. It’s a stunning place to unwind and enjoy nature. The guest pool is a little small, but we never found it too crowded. My daughters loved the games room and having room to wander around freely. Highly recommended.

Casa de Rosas was a cute, new apartment, and we could use our own grill outside. Dona Helen made us feel so welcome. I loved wandering around the garden, with olive, mandarin, lemon, and orange trees all around. The 400ha property has beautiful, peaceful nature and lots of hidden spots to discover, with a history going back to the 15th century. There are swimming pools, a playground for children, and a zipline. It was one of my nicest stays in a long time, and I’m looking forward to coming back. 👌

Every cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, and each bedroom and living room has its own air conditioning. The bathrooms are modern, nice, and brand new. There’s a playground, plus a shared area with table football, a Ping-Pong Table, and more. The oranges from the many big trees were the best we’d ever had, and a baker comes by every morning with fresh bread and sweet pastries. Helen was always there to answer questions, and showed us around both the garden and the historic farmhouse. We were amazed by its 400 years of history and all the old farm pieces she’d kept. Modern meets history really does describe it. We felt at home right away and were sad to leave. Words hardly cover how great our stay at Quinta da Bizelga was. The surrounding area, including Tomar, Sertã, Abrantes, and Torres Novas, is wonderful for sightseeing, with castles, the Tejo, and monasteries. Go and discover it for yourself.
