There’s a great playground for children, surrounded by nature, and the live music was a fun touch. The self-service food was nicely presented and good.

The room price somehow hadn’t gone up since last year, which surprised us because we expected to pay more. We visited this beautiful hotel again this year. It’s a few minutes’ drive from Hohenau and also works well as a base for day trips to Encarnacion. The pool is cold in July and August, of course, but we had it all to ourselves!

We stayed here on 30 October, 2013, and really enjoyed both the buffet dinner and breakfast the next morning. The pool was great, and the landscaping was beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I highly recommend it.

I especially liked swimming in the pool at night. The hotel is beautifully maintained and managed throughout, and the restaurant food is delicious, with reasonable prices, though on the higher side. It’s one of the few rural Paraguay hotels that takes credit cards and even lets you book via booking.com, which is a real advantage for international travelers.
