Hotel Le Saint Pierre Île De La Reunion

There was no sea view, or really any view at all. Our window looked out at a road and the backs of buildings, the worst view of any place I've stayed. The kitchenette was supposed to be useful, but it had only two or three utensils and no oil or salt, so how are you meant to cook? Outside, there was a lot of noise from cars and homeless people at night and early in the morning. Definitely not a peaceful place. Everything about the stay was horrible.

We only had one night here, but it was a nice short stay. Parking underneath the hotel was especially easy and felt secure. The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked well, and the free welcome drink at the bar was a nice extra.

The only issue for me was breakfast. When too many people came at once, some items weren't available, so they could do something to handle the rush better and improve customer satisfaction. The staff were working hard, though. The rooms were lovely and cleaned well, and it's a great hotel.

We were able to stay another night at the fully booked Hotel Saint Pierre thanks to the helpful reception staff. The beach, a Leader Price supermarket, a bank and plenty of restaurants are all within walking distance. The hotel has a welcoming, spacious reception, a chic restaurant and bar, plus a small pool beside the bar. Our room had lots of space around the large bed, a big cupboard with a safe, a desk with electrical connections and a 42 inch TV opposite the bed. The large verandah /balcony had a kitchenette with a two plate stove, fridge, wash basin, microwave, Italian coffee maker for the stove, crockery and cutlery. We had a very pleasant stay, highly recommended.
