I wasn’t sure what to expect for the daily price as someone visiting from the United States, but this has been a wonderful stay. The staff are gracious, the service is excellent, and it’s an extremely clean, comfortable Romanian hotel. The hearty breakfasts are lovely. There’s free WiFi, a television, a wardrobe, an en suite shower room, and a private balcony. There’s also a bathroom with a tub on the floor if needed. For warmer weather, they have a solar therapy room, a small pool, and a whirlpool. I’d stay in a hotel like this in the United States.

The hosts are kind, the house is pleasant, and the yard is gorgeous. Sadly, those were the only good parts of the stay. I was there around September 20, and although it was 10 Celsius degrees outside at night, they wouldn’t turn on the heat. It was acceptable under the covers, but I could barely stay in the room wearing just my pajamas. Our bathroom smelled odd, probably from the sewer, and we had no spray or other way to cover it. There were mosquitoes in the room even though the windows had screens, and I don’t know where they came from. The windows also felt almost nonexistent, so we could hear nearly everything outside.

The woman, who I assume is the owner, treated us very well. There was a problem with our room, but they fixed it quickly, and the facilities are very nice.
