Central Class Bucharest

We booked the studio flat through Expedia because it looked like a good deal and had positive reviews, but the stay was a nightmare. The apartment block was old and run-down, and the rickety, frightening elevator should have warned us. We still hoped the studio would be better. In the middle of the night, a cockroach jumped onto my husband's head. We then found several more around the door frame. I'm allergic to dust and insects, so I felt deeply uncomfortable and unsafe. We couldn't stay another moment and had to book a hotel urgently, which cost us an extra £200. I contacted Expedia for help, but the studio flat's manager showed no willingness to deal with the problem. We ended up with only a £25 credit. My attempts to contact the manager got no response, which showed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I can't understand how a place like this can operate while making promises that mislead guests with positive reviews. Expedia should take more responsibility for the quality and safety of the accommodations listed on its platform. I felt betrayed and deeply disappointed. Don't risk your health and sanity to save a few pounds. Avoid this place at all costs.

The apartment was clean and warm, with handy things like a coffee machine, fridge, hairdryer, slippers, and body wash. There are lots of facilities nearby, and both the bus station and metro are close. Natasa was very polite, friendly, and helpful, giving us more information about Bucharest, restaurants, and sightseeing. The only drawback was that there were no doors separating the bedrooms. We stayed in apartment number 8.

We stayed just one night, and the communication was absolutely perfect. The location was very good, and the clean room had everything for visitors, even coffee and tea. Sadly, we're leaving tomorrow. Dimitris and Niki.

You can get around easily from here, with public transport right outside for trips to other parts of the city. The old town is an easy walk, and the place is right in the city center. The owner was really nice and involved.
