We had an address problem, and the people there understood that, but still took our money. They never identified themselves as hotel employees. We were traveling with a small baby, 6+, and had no choice but to stay. The water system runs on gas. Tap and bathroom water took a while to heat and didn’t stay reliably warm. There was no siphon in the bathroom, so I couldn’t bathe the baby in the large tub. The curtain rails were broken, though luckily that didn’t turn into a disaster. Two different people came to collect payment twice. They didn’t give us a receipt at the time, only sent a photo of one later, and the apartment number on it didn’t match ours. Where does the money go? There was nowhere nearby to get food and no attractions close by. It was noisy too.

We stayed for 4 days, and it was really great overall. The apartment had an oven, washing machine, microwave, stove, kitchen utensils, two bathrooms and a bath. There was air conditioning in every room and in the living room, which was a huge help with 40 degrees outside. It’s in a quiet street in Sector 3. A tree-shaded avenue takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Jewish Quarter, Starbucks and a shopping mall. Keep going and the Bucharest Palace is about 25 minutes away on foot. There are several cafes within 200 meters, and there’s also a coffee machine for making filtered mud coffee.

The rooms were clean, the owner was nice, and the location was good.
