We had to leave that awful room and find another hotel. It had no towels, even after we asked, the furniture was falling apart, and the mattress was extremely old and smelled bad. It was worth 20 euros at most, definitely not 60.

The room was terrible: tiny and very low standard, with a shared toilet and shower. The sheets were torn, and the fridge was so loud it kept making noise all night. The receptionist was quite nice, but understood very little English, which is surprising in Bucharest's most touristic area. The location itself is excellent.

Sadly, the hotel feels stuck in time and very dated. The carpets, mattresses and bed linen were extremely dirty. We got the impression the carpets hadn't had a deep clean in decades. The air conditioning didn't work at all. At least it sits on a quiet street near shops and cafes.

The location was good, just minutes from the old town, and late check-out at 11:30am was handy. Towels were provided, and hair dryers were available at reception. The room was basic, as expected, but had a strange smell. For such a super cheap price, the stay was fine and I don't regret it, though I wouldn't stay again.

The building is old and has its drawbacks, but the place is kept clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are very friendly, nice and always ready to help. It's a very central, convenient location near the old city. Recommended.
