The Turkish open buffet breakfast was delicious, and the atmosphere felt calm and friendly, almost like home. This is the only hotel between Ruse - Bulgaria and Focșani - România where I’ve actually enjoyed spending the night and felt good about the price. I hope the rates stay the same because I want to keep coming back. The hotel and bathroom were clean. The room had central heating and AC, and the shower cabin worked well without leaking onto the floor, unlike at other places. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The only thing missing from the bathroom was a towel to put on the floor after showering.

The only drawback was a hairdryer that didn’t work. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and the receptionist was friendly, helpful and thorough, with no trouble communicating in English. We checked in close to dinner time, but reception is open until 8:00 PM. After we sent our arrival time by WhatsApp, they promptly confirmed there’d be no problem welcoming us then. It’s slightly outside the city center, but easy to reach by public transport. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Ozan Bey at reception was especially helpful. He gave detailed advice on routes, places to eat and the city’s history, which made it easy to explore Bucharest and the surrounding area independently, without joining tours. The hotel owner and staff are Turkish, and the rooms and shared spaces are clean and quite adequate for a 3-star hotel. The Turkish breakfast in the mornings is very good. If you’d rather spend more of your travel budget on experiences than accommodation, this is an economical choice with a good price-performance ratio.
