Karma Luxury Room

I was there for six nights, and the room had everything I needed while exploring Bucharest. The staff were really nice and checked whether I wanted fresh towels and the room cleaned.

The bathroom drain didn't work properly, and we also felt uneasy when someone opened our room door from outside while we were inside. It may have been room service, but it still made us uncomfortable. On our first evening, we reported that the room wasn't clean: there were cobwebs, spiders, and lots of flying insects. With our allergies, this was very uncomfortable, and our symptoms got worse. We were told someone would check the room the next day, but nobody came and we got no further help or solution. We felt our concerns weren't taken seriously, and weren't satisfied with the stay.

The dog next door barked right outside our window, on top of the tram noise from the street. The windows don't seem to seal out sound very well. The bathroom was also tiny, with barely enough space to wash at the sink. When we arrived late, the toilet wasn't clean. I had disinfectant spray with me, so I dealt with it myself rather than try to find another place when I was already tired. Then I spotted a little tenant in the jacuzzi tub, which made it seem like it hadn't been used or cleaned in a while. I lost the urge for a hot bath and cleaned the shower cabin before using that instead. The price doesn't feel justified for what you get. If you put a bathtub or jacuzzi in the room, at least keep it clean.
