The room was neat and the hotel was quiet, even though it’s close to the station. Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I’d happily come back next time I’m in Bucharest.

We chose this B&B because we needed somewhere near the train station after arriving fairly late. Walking there from the station felt safe, and the location was really convenient. We’ve been full-time travelers since 2022 and have stayed in lots of Airbnbs, and this was one of the better ones for being clean, quiet, and convenient. There’s also a small outdoor spot to sit when the weather’s good. Entry to both the building and the room is controlled by your cell phone. Make sure it doesn’t run out of battery while you’re out, or you won’t be able to get back in.

The room was modern, spacious enough, and pleasant, with a kettle, small fridge, TV, table, plenty of plugs and cupboard space, curtains, towels, and a comfortable bathroom. It was warm and comfortable even though I visited in February 2025, when it was very snowy and cold outside. Being near the train station was practical, and the room was clean when I arrived. A few things to know: there’s no reception, and online check-in only opens at 1 pm. You need an internet connection to complete it and get the code for both the building and your room. I didn’t know this before arriving, and in the cold I couldn’t get in, so I had to ask strangers to call someone at the hotel. I didn’t see anyone during my stay. The room also isn’t cleaned during your stay. I didn’t have breakfast there, and wouldn’t, since there isn’t room for it. I bought pretzels the day before at Polen, in the train station’s main hall, which was good value. Mega Image is four minutes from the station and has smoothies, as well as tea and coffee portions. Stock up there if you want to use the kettle each day.

On the hottest days of the year there was no air conditioning, and nobody answered for half a day. We weren’t warned about it beforehand.
