The castle, Karolyi Mansion, is a must-see. We also really enjoyed the restaurant, with very tasty and inexpensive dinner. Breakfast had a wide selection, though the bread could be better. Our room was large and had all the amenities, with one of the best mattresses. Parking behind the building was free, and the stay was very comfortable.

I had arranged a room for my wedding day in person with both the receptionist and manager, and we agreed on all the details. A few days before the booking, I called to check everything was set. They told me the system showed a different date and they couldn't fit me in on the date we'd originally reserved because another wedding had filled the hotel. They never even called to let me know. Very unprofessional.

They require a minibar deposit, which I've never encountered in over 50 hotel stays. Breakfast had to be ordered a day ahead, with an EXACT TIME specified, and both the breakfast and service were poor. The desk price was 20% higher than the usual price on booking. The rooms are nice, but at this price, that's what you'd expect in a no-name, no-interest city.

A quiet area, kind staff, and good service made this a very nice stay. There's a park across the street for evening walks, with Karoly Palace inside if you'd like to see a bit of history. If you need a cozy place to stay on your journey, I definitely recommend L’Art Hotel.

We loved the atmosphere and the amazing food. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly. We'll definitely pick L‘art Hotel again. Highly recommend!
